Self-supporting warehouses

Self-supporting warehouses are an alternative to building a traditional warehouse later equipped with pallet racks.

Self-supporting shelving

In self-supporting warehouses, racks are used to make a real building. In fact, in addition to being used for storing load units, the racking elements are also used to support the roof and walls of the warehouse.

Designed to be resistant to weather and seismic actions, these warehouses can be configured internally with different storage solutions. The structure lends itself mainly to hosting automated systems but, for example, traditional, gravity, drive-in, AKL, or skid pallet rack systems may well be implemented.

In conclusion, this solution allows maximum use of space by developing predominantly in height and optimizing, as a result, the space occupied in the floor plan. Construction work is kept to a minimum and is focused on making the concrete slab.
